Emilia Telyatnikova is PhD on philosophy and a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Natural Science. She is also a musician and  a philologist both by education and vacation.

After graduating from the music college under the Moscow Conservatory named after P. Chaikovsky (harp) and also the philological faculty of the Moscow State University and then the post-graduate office Emilia Telyatnikova devoted her life to translating into Russian a number of German and Norwegian books.

But not for a moment she left music, combining both domains.   Anxious to demonstrate interpretative abilities of the ancient instrument as wide as possible, she makes her own arrangements of classical and modern music for harp, making the audience remember the old tradition of improvisation.
